How to Fix the Missing Camera Issue on Your Laptop
So here I have installed a new copy of Windows to this laptop and what I see when I try to open the camera it’s a notification saying we can’t find your camera check to be sure it’s connected and installed properly it isn’t being blocked by antivirus software and all that so there are two possible reasons for this.
First it could be a hardware problem and it could also be a software problem. It could be that the actual camera Hardware component is faulty and so can be recognized by the laptop it could also be as a result of software which in this case are the drivers for the camera.
So if you are having this problem whatsoever it’s good to first try this solution to be sure that it’s not a software problem because the solution in this video is fixing software problem that’s driver error but then if it’s a hardware problem then you might need to change your camera.
First you close this window then go to your search and type device manager open your device manager and say SE for Imaging devices so here you pull the drop down and then you see your HP webcam VGA right click on it and say uninstall device it asks you if you’re sure you want to uninstall say yes and then uninstall the device and all the software please remember to select uninstall devices and other software then after this you go to your your action and click on scan for Hardware changes give it some few seconds and then you notice that it has reinstalled your Imaging devices with your HP webcam BGA once again so after this you now go back and launch your camera and yes your camera is working.
